ABOUT / RULES
The Cutest Pet Contest welcomes accomplished shutterbugs (or those aspiring to be) to enter their best pet photos. Finalists will appear in the June-July issue of Grand Strand Magazine and it’s up to the public to decide who wins. Online voting will be held in June, and the winner will be announced in the August-September issue.
The contest begins on April 1, 2021, and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on April 16, 2021. To enter, fill out the online form and upload a photo of your pet. No more than one entry per pet will be accepted.
Open to pets and pet owners living either full or part-time in Horry or Georgetown counties in South Carolina, or Brunswick County in North Carolina. Entrant must have the legal right and ability to give permission for Grand Strand Magazine to use the photo of his/her pet and/or must have secured, prior to entry, the written permission of any person and/or pet owner other than entrant.
Finalists agree to allow their pet’s photo to run in print and will agree not to use the photo for any other promotion or commercial purpose throughout 2021.
The finalists’ photos will appear in the June-July issue of Grand Strand Magazine. There will be two rounds of voting and finalists will be notified in June. The winner will be determined by the general public through online voting in June, and the winner will be announced in the August-September issue of Grand Strand Magazine. Winning photos will be judged on the following criteria: Photo must be original, unpublished, and not copyrighted.
